Eggar’s School welcomed some of their primary school friends for their 'Big Folk Sing' today. Last Friday they welcomed Alton College to their Yr10 Assembly, where students heard about Taster & Open Days coming up this term.
The EAWRA Community Bus has launched in Alton, with support from Bookers & Bolton Solicitors, who are also currently looking to recruit a Receptionist and PT/Cover Secretary.
Alton Infant School has been chosen for the ‘adopt a school’ scheme for the whole month of May. Each child is offered free swimming at Alton Sports Centre!
Are you interested in learning STREET DANCE? There’s a new class being introduced to Alton Sports Centre on a Saturday from 9.50am until 10.30. Students are welcome from 11yrs of age. A new edition to the Centre’s Facebook page will be a weekly wake-up with glittering yogi - Sharing pose's, progression, yoga flows and daily positivity for our community.
Alton School Prep Year 5 are preparing for their traditional Maypole dancing on May Day at the Open Day Festival next week. The Triple fff Brewery's Head Brewer, Graham, and his assistant Pete, have been brewing Rock Lobster.
Congratulations to Alton Football Club U17 TK’s for winning their league and well done to Alton Hockey Club's U12 girls, winners of the Hampshire Hockey in2hockey and winners of the South Regional Hockey Club Plate.
On Thursday 2nd may Eggar’s School have Hampshire Cricket coach, Providence Cowdrill, coming into school for the day to deliver taster sessions to girls during their PE lessons. Coomers are looking for a Class 2 (Category C) HGV Delivery Driver based at their Haslemere branch and are proud to again be one of the many local sponsors of Headley Fun Run, taking place on the 6 May Bank Holiday.
