Alton School Alumna Lauren Shea is the first International Ambassador for Teen Tech and has five female scientists with Dr Clayton at the helm, inspiring the next generation every day. As well as “Storm Eric”, Scott 2 Go was in the news this week with a delivery of satellite equipment to CBS News.
Coomers have been nominated in the BMJ Industry Awards for Independent Merchant of the Year AND Merchant Kitchen & Bathroom Showroom of the Year. The Homes Estate Agents’ Lettings & Property Management team is currently conducting a series of 1-2-1 briefings with its Landlord clients about the implications of impending changes to lettings legislation. Congratulations to Richard from Warren Powell Richards who achieved his 300th review, which puts him in the top 13 Letting negotiators in the country!
Alton College currently has a few vacancies and their ‘Star of the Week’ is IT Technician Liam Creaser for his positive, can-do attitude supporting students and staff across campus on a daily basis. JRS Plumbing and Heating and Everyone Active at Alton Sports Centre and joined AltonHampshire.co.uk, which has made another charitable donation to Alzheimer’s Society.
Alton School recently sent a donation to their sister school in Colombia for their development fund "Congregacion Hijas de Santa Maria de la Providencia" which will be used to support a school inundated with refugees.
Alton Rugby Club’s under 6 player, Tom Fletcher, walked out alongside Owen Farrell at Twickenham on Sunday as an England Mascot. Congratulations to Alton FC Pumas on becoming Hampshire U15 Futsal Champions, winning 7-0 in the final.
